Why Wait for the Straight Line?

Highly sophisticated electronic medical equipment by name Defibrillator restores the heartbeat of heart patients by giving an electric shock. Long back I had worked for a company which used to develop this equipment. I was not knowing the usage of it during that time, later I came to know the importance of it. Most of the people will love others when his/her heart beat gets straight line, otherwise they feel jealous and ignore. How many of us had a chance to walk along with the body of a known person to the cremation ground? It is a very strange feeling and we will definitely repent if we have hurt that person purposely.

It is human tendency to hide the fact of struggles and project a well being to outside World. Some of them burst out like a balloon when are not able to keep the sufferings inside. It will be so good,  if we help a person to come out of the tough time.

The present World has so many uncertainties in the days to come. Let us ‘Leave No Stone Unturned.’ so that our mind will not have any regrets.

Once during my vacation to Kerala I was remembering about my College friend and dialed his brothers house in Kochi. A young boy answered the phone. I said, ‘Can I talk to Sunny?’ There was a brief silence for few seconds, then I heard a his low voice. ‘Uncle, Sunny papan (name to call father’s younger brother) is no more. When enquired, he told me that Sunny had passed away due to skin cancer few years back. We were very close friends during college time and while I was working in Bangalore.

You may be astonished to know that he used to write letters to me from his Kerala home. He wanted to do a course in AutoCad and had shortage of money. My financial conditions too was not positive to help him during his need of the hour. This episode flashed through my mind I felt regretted for not helping him at that time.

God gives us chance to help others and take automatic blessings. We should not loose the chances. ‘Help a person while his heart still beats.”Why wait for the straight line?’
